I have been painting
portraits, still lifes and landscapes since
my youth. The joy of capturing a moment or
feeling on canvas is still as strong and
enjoyable as then. I work primarily in
acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas, so
framing is possible but not necessary. I
travel a great deal and use many images and
memories from my adventures to shape my
work.
Floorcloths have been used for
centuries as a usable art expression for the home. They
are durable, versatile and easy to clean. My floor
cloths are made of heavy canvas, triple-primed, painted
with latex and acrylics, and poly-coated for a durable,
water-resistant finish. They are then backed with a
nonskid rubber matting. They work best laid on hard
surfaces such as tile or wood, and can be cleaned using
a mild soap and water like any kitchen floor.
Floorcloths and placemats are painted to order. You get
to help in the design by choosing colors and styles. |
